 Inspiration —

+ Summer Solstice | Midsummer

+ The very essence of its symbolism is intertwined with the zenith of summer, where the sun's energy is at its peak, illuminating our lives with warmth and vibrancy.

+ This period represents growth, fruition, and the manifestation of all the hard work put in during the earlier months.

About Rùda —

+ Established by artists Shaun Fagan and Phillippa Henley in 2024, Rùda is a collaborative creative practice and soon to open gallery and studio in the village of St Boswells, Scottish Borders.

+ The gallery will exhibit their own work in sculpture, textiles and printmaking, alongside a curated range of art materials, homeware and gifts.

+ The studio and workshops will follow and will be home to a yearly programme of workshops and classes.

About G.F Smith —

+ People are the fabric of GF Smith, an independent business. Their values of caring along with a can-do culture, believing we’re only as good as the people we work with, so they pride theyselves on working with the best and doing their best.

+ Hull is their home, and community is at its heart. Being proud to be part of this great city and its people. To make a positive impact, and set up the GF Smith Charitable Trust.

+ Where They aim to bridge the gap between young people in Hull and careers in the creative industries. Through the Trust, they create opportunities, inspire, and support the local creative community in and around our home city, within the HU2 postcode, and across the wider creative community.

+ As a B Corp, they are committed to giving back to the planet. And are always looking for ways to innovate and make our business more sustainable and planet-friendly. Paper, one of the world’s oldest and most natural materials, can be recycled over seven times.  Offering  a wide range of paper made from various recycled materials.

+ At GF Smith, everything comes back to people and the planet.

About Moebe —

+ Is a danish design studio creating consciously made furniture and lifestyle objects, with great details that last a lifetime. It's that simple.

+ Formed in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, they develop all of their designs from the studio workshop on the island of Amager in Copenhagen. With each design they aim to create intelligently constructed, high quality pieces that not only work well and look great, but also encourage people to enjoy life with fewer distractions, and to join a growing movement of people who crave honesty, simplification and a need for ‘less’.
